Here is the job description
Primary responsibilities are focused at 1) ensuring production
incidents are handled in a timely manner following incident management
procedures to meet Service Level commitments, 2) working with team to
proactively prevent issues from occurring that could impact Service
Level commitments, and 3) supporting the transition of new versions
seamlessly into our customers production environments.
This position is ideal for a developer with extensive J2EE experience.
This role is much more than your typical development position. You
will not only be in the forefront of managing and influencing the
satisfaction of our largest customers, but will also be shaping
processes and product improvements that increase the quality of our
products.

Production Stability:
ork with Application Support, OGS Testing, Infra and Delivery teams to
identify, triage, research and resolve defects within SLAs
commitments.
rive ticket triage and prioritization for the OGS team across all
customers with Support Managers
roubleshoot defects in complex J2EE implementation, design and develop
code fixes to resolve them.
rovide guidance and act as a resource to team members for technical
assistance in troubleshooting issues or architectural design
questions
aintain architectural-level technical knowledge of our software and
systems.
articipate in technical discussions with customers as required to
assure successful integrations and customer satisfaction.
Delivery:
se J2EE technologies (EJBs, JSPs, JMS, servlets) to build and extend
custom software components
onstruct scoping documents, requirements documents, and detailed
estimates as needed to define the nature of the engagement.
eliver high quality work on time with multiple competing priorities.
ork closely with project team to assign tasks and closely track
progress against a work plan.
ork proactively to resolve issues and manage risks.
versee the quality of the work being delivered. Ensure that what is
being produced meets the agreed-upon quality standards. Work
proactively to identify and address deficiencies in this area.
nforce design, coding, test, and documentation standards.
ollaborate with customer on testing and acceptance of project
deliverables.
Requirements:
+ years of hands on experience with Java and J2EE.
xperience developing on UNIX platforms required, preferably RedHat
Linux.
esirable experience: SOAP, XML/XSL, UML, SQL, Struts, Weblogic,
Tomcat, Apache, ClearCase, Maven, mySQL, Oracle, Informatica.
roven experience in managing and troubleshooting issues for linux/J2EE
enterprise applications.
xperience with the full software development lifecycle.
xcellent problem solver – will take the lead in jumping into a problem
with the eye toward finding a solution.
riven by results – not afraid to jump in and pick up the slack to
ensure that a project stays on track.
emonstrated capacity for learning quickly in a fast-paced environment
and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
